Our hedging is grown and nurtured to provide the ultimate natural privacy screen for any project. However, the journey to a thriving hedge doesn’t end at delivery, it begins with expert planting. Proper installation sets the foundation for strong establishment, healthy root development, and long-term success.
That’s where our Professional Planting Service comes in. With thousands of completed projects nationwide, our experienced team ensures every hedge is planted to the correct depth, spacing, and alignment for an instant, clean finish. Each job is completed with care, precision, and minimal disruption to your property.
What we take care of
- Professional on-site planting of instant hedging modules (up to 18 per visit)
- Careful setting-out, spacing, and alignment for a clean, continuous finish
- Correct planting depth for fast establishment
- Watering-in on completion (where water access is available)
- Application of fertiliser and compost
- A basic tidy of the immediate work area before leaving site
Before we arrive
To help things go smoothly, please make sure the planting area is ready and suitable before the team arrives. That means:
- Clear and level ground
- Free from weeds or old roots
- Good-quality soil with proper drainage
- Any tree stumps along the planting line fully removed
If we arrive and the ground isn’t suitable (for example, because of stumps, poor access, or waterlogging), we may not be able to continue, and additional charges could apply.
Soil removed from planting holes will be redistributed around your garden (often mixed with compost and spread along a border). We’re not able to remove soil from site, so please let us know in advance if you’d like it left somewhere specific.
